Our Price: $49,995
This beautiful First Generation F Model 1952 Ford F1 Pick up is presented in Coral Flame Red with Tan interior. It has a beautiful oak bed and a 239 cu in 100hp Flathead V8 backed up by a 3 speed ' On the Tree' manual Transmission. It has been completely restored that shows a quality FORD TRUCK. In the last year of the Bonus Built series, Ford introduced an overhead-valve 215-cid six-cylinder engine, rated at 101 horsepower. The flathead V-8, still at 239-cid, got a bump in compression ratio, increasing output to 106 horsepower. Hood trim was revamped, and front grille color was changed from silver to white, This one has the color matched with Chrome. The first F-Series truck (known as the Ford Bonus-Built) was introduced in 1948 as a replacement for the previous car-based pickup line introduced in 1941. It had a flat, one-piece windshield and integrated headlamps.[1] It had a wider cab.[1] Options included the 'See-Clear' windshield washer (operated by foot plunger), passenger-side windshield wiper & sun visor, and passenger-side taillight. Design of the F-Series truck changed tremendously from 1950 to 1954. From 1948 to 1950, the grill was a series of horizontal bars and the headlights were set into the fenders. For 1951 and 1952, the headlights were connected by a wide aerodynamic cross piece with three similarly aerodynamic supports. The rear window was wider in the later trucks and the dashboard was redesigned. F-Series trucks were assembled at sixteen different Ford factories. The Ford Mustang was originally named for the fighter plane, the P-51 Mustang and later the horse Mustang became the emblem. Buyers loved its low price, long hood, short trunk styling, and its many options and Ford loved its high volume sales. In mid 1964, Ford introduced the sporty 2+2 fastback body style to go along with the hardtop coupe and convertible. Enthusiasts also cheered the new 'K-code' 271bhp 289 cid V8 that finally put some performance to match the Mustang's good looks. For those that wanted more, the legendary Carroll Shelby and Ford collaborated to produce the Shelby GT-350. This was a fastback specially tuned by Shelby. The 289 V8 produced 306bhp in street tune and around 360bhp in special GT-350R race tune. These Shelby's had no back seat, were only available in white and were fully race ready. This 1965 Mustang 2+2 Fastback GT350 Clone is presented in Wimbledon White with Black Crinkle Vinyl interior. It was built in Dearborm,MI on December 20,1965 the D.S.O was(71) Los Angeles and by the trim tag It says it should have a 289ci 4v V8 HiPo engine(but has not been verified) backed by a 5 speed transmission that replaced the original 4-speed manual and the trim tag also says it should have a 3.89:1 gear. It comes with a customized Roll cage with simpson 5 point seats belts. The rear end is a detroit locker with a possilbe 3.89:1 but we cannot verify. This Mustang was built to run vintage style racing. It has a working pod in the dash for the Tach and oil pressure. The car was purchased from a local owner in NC and the trim tag says its a K code Mustang, but we CANNOT VERIFY THIS. call 1-877-689-6930 for more information and ask for Kennith Stewart.
