The Ford Mustang was originally named for the fighter plane, the P-51 Mustang and later the horse Mustang became the emblem. Buyers loved its low price, long hood, short trunk styling, and its many options and Ford loved its high volume sales. In mid 1964, Ford introduced the sporty 2+2 fastback body style to go along with the hardtop coupe and convertible. Enthusiasts also cheered the new 'K-code' 271bhp 289 cid V8 that finally put some performance to match the Mustang's good looks. For those that wanted more, the legendary Carroll Shelby and Ford collaborated to produce the Shelby GT-350. This was a fastback specially tuned by Shelby. The 289 V8 produced 306bhp in street tune and around 360bhp in special GT-350R race tune. These Shelby's had no back seat, were only available in white and were fully race ready. This 1965 Mustang 2+2 Fastback GT350 Clone is presented in Wimbledon White with Black Crinkle Vinyl interior. It was built in Dearborm,MI on December 20,1965 the D.S.O was(71) Los Angeles and by the trim tag It says it should have a 289ci 4v V8 HiPo engine(but has not been verified) backed by a 5 speed transmission that replaced the original 4-speed manual and the trim tag also says it should have a 3.89:1 gear. It comes with a customized Roll cage with simpson 5 point seats belts. The rear end is a detroit locker with a possilbe 3.89:1 but we cannot verify. This Mustang was built to run vintage style racing. It has a working pod in the dash for the Tach and oil pressure. The car was purchased from a local owner in NC and the trim tag says its a K code Mustang, but we CANNOT VERIFY THIS. call 1-877-689-6930 for more information and ask for Kennith Stewart.

In the last year of the Bonus Built series, Ford introduced an overhead-valve 215-cid six-cylinder engine, rated at 101 horsepower. The flathead V-8, still at 239-cid, got a bump in compression ratio, increasing output to 106 horsepower. Hood trim was revamped, and front grille color was changed from silver to white, This one has the color matched with Chrome. The first F-Series truck (known as the Ford Bonus-Built) was introduced in 1948 as a replacement for the previous car-based pickup line introduced in 1941. It had a flat, one-piece windshield and integrated headlamps.[1] It had a wider cab.[1] Options included the 'See-Clear' windshield washer (operated by foot plunger), passenger-side windshield wiper & sun visor, and passenger-side taillight. Design of the F-Series truck changed tremendously from 1950 to 1954. From 1948 to 1950, the grill was a series of horizontal bars and the headlights were set into the fenders. For 1951 and 1952, the headlights were connected by a wide aerodynamic cross piece with three similarly aerodynamic supports. The rear window was wider in the later trucks and the dashboard was redesigned. F-Series trucks were assembled at sixteen different Ford factories. This 1990 ZR1 with only 127 miles on it is presented in Bright red with black interior. This time capsule ZR1 is in wonderful condition and some say that In the history of the automobile, few cars were anticipated as much as the Corvette ZR1. The rumors had been circulating for almost three years before one was available for purchase in the early 90's. The hype was not Chevrolet's doing - car enthusiasts were eager for any and all scraps of information and the magazines did what they could. The ZR1 ID on the option list was a tribute to the special ZR1 high performance package available for 1970-72 Corvettes which was shorthand for Zora Racers. This was a serious racing package costing approximately $1,000 and featured the much admired LT1 engine. King of the Hill was an internal and supposedly unofficial working title around GM for the ZR1 project. This is lowest mileage ZR1 that we know of and will only continue to go up in Value! Here is what we know about the 1990 ZR1.The C4 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was first produced in 1990 and ended in 1995 after 6,939 vehicles came off the line. General Motors approached Lotus in 1986, which was part of GM then, and asked for their help developing a high-performance car to be based on the C4 Vette. Lotus then designed an engine, with the assistance of GM Corvette team to replace the original push-rod L98 V-8, which was the motor that powered the C4 Chevy Corvette. The motor the designers created was an aluminum-block V-8 that had the identical bore centers as the L98 but had 32 valves and four overhead cams. Lotus also engineered an exclusive air-management system that allowed the engine to shut off eight of the 16 fuel injectors and intake runners when the motor was at part throttle. At full-throttle the ZR1 developed 375 hp. Having nowhere to produce the new engine, GM farmed out the project to Mercury Marine a marine engine manufacturer located in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The Lotus company also had a hand in developing the ZR

This 29,843 original miles 1984 BMW 325E is one of 285,134 built-in 1984 for the North American market and is presented in Hennarot Red exterior with black interior. The 325e uses the stronger Getrag 260 5-speed with a 3.23 rear gear ratio. The 325e was an economy version and was released as a lower revving, more fuel efficient engine. The E is an abbreviation for eta, which is used to represent the thermal efficiency of a heat engine. To maximize low-rev torque, the engine was the largest available in an E30, aside from the South Africa-only 333i model. The 2.7 L (160 cu in) engine had a longer stroke than the 2.5 L, with a more restrictive head, four cam bearings instead of seven (less internal friction), and single valve springs (instead of the dual valve springs used by the 2.5 L engine). This resulted in 90 kW (120 hp) at 4250 rpm and, more importantly, 240 Nè·¯m (180 lbè·¯ft) at 3250 rpm.[25][24] (without catalytic converter) Peak torque for the 2.5 L (150 cu in) engine is 215 Nè·¯m (159 lbè·¯ft) at 4000 rpm. The front MacPherson struts and rear semi-trailing arm suspension are a compact arrangement that leaves a lot of cabin and boot space for the car's overall size.
